Maintenance - Mechanical Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, specifically in maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines and special purpose machinery. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repair:

  Oversee the mechanical maintenance of CNC machines, HMCs, special purpose machines (SPMs), and other critical equipment to ensure smooth production operations.

• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems:

  Utilize integrated knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, which are essential for powering machinery and automation equipment. Understand circuit design, fluid mechanics, and maintenance of these systems to ensure efficient operation.

• Breakdown Management:

  Provide prompt production support for breakdown maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing equipment availability.

• Preventive Maintenance:

  Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of machinery. Monitor and analyze maintenance data (MTBF & MTTR) for continuous improvement.

• Project Planning:

  Plan and execute short-term and long-term maintenance projects, including shutdowns and routine maintenance activities, with a focus on resource optimization.

• Safety Compliance:

  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices on the shop floor. Identify and address unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.

• Documentation:

  Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, audits, and compliance with ISO standards. Assist in the preparation of maintenance documentation and reports.

• Technical Expertise:

  Conduct geometrical accuracy checks on CNC machines, and assist in programming and troubleshooting CNC operations (Fanuc, Siemens).

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Bachelors degree preferred.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the automotive or manufacturing sector.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficient in the maintenance of CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical assembly. Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and schematic diagrams.

• Software Proficiency:

  Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., MAXIMO, FIS) and industrial automation tools.
