Maintenance Mechanic (Compactor Equipment)

As a Maintenance Mechanic (Compactor Equipment), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of compactor systems. Here is what you can expect in this role: **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform maintenance and repairs on compactor systems of all makes, following maintenance and repair orders. - Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues in compacting systems. - Inspect, test, and record findings to ensure necessary repairs are completed accurately. - Provide detailed labor and time estimates for required repairs. - Maintain up-to-date documentation for all repairs and ensure the integrity of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program. - Contribute to a safe, productive, and positive work environment. **Qualifications:** - Experience working with compacting systems (trash compaction Rollers, road compactor, Garbage, waste compactors, Plate compactors) is required. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. - Welding and fabrication experience is required. - Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient solutions. - Team-oriented and flexible, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. - Must hold a valid driver's license; CDL and DOT physical card are highly preferred. - Availability to work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime or weekend hours. **Why Join the Team ** Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where your skills and expertise are valued.
