Maintenance Manager - Gems and Jewelry

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and servicing of machinery and equipment utilized in jewelry manufacturing. Your role will involve managing a small team, ensuring minimal downtime, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies. You will be entrusted with maintaining and repairing all machinery used in the diamond and gold jewelry production process. It will be your responsibility to implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent unplanned breakdowns and promptly diagnose and troubleshoot machine issues for timely resolution. Additionally, you will supervise and guide a team of 2 Maintenance Executives in their day-to-day maintenance tasks. Keeping detailed records of repairs, service logs, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance will be crucial. You will also need to coordinate with vendors and service providers for machine servicing and parts procurement to ensure operational efficiency. Collaboration with production and quality teams is essential to guarantee uninterrupted operations. Ensuring that all machines comply with safety and compliance standards will be a key aspect of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in machinery maintenance within a manufacturing or factory environment, with a preference for experience in the jewelry or precision manufacturing industry. A strong knowledge of machinery used in jewelry making, hands-on experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance, and the ability to lead a small team efficiently are required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, familiarity with maintenance logs and reporting systems, and a willingness to work in Shiravane, Nerul (Navi Mumbai) are also necessary. A Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in the jewelry manufacturing industry, which would be a strong advantage for this role.,
