MAINTENANCE /GAS MONIFOLD TECHNICIAN

As a Multitasking Maintenance Technician / Gas Manifold Technician, your role involves operating and maintaining the medical gas manifold system at the hospital. You will be responsible for monitoring the supply of Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Compressed Air, and Vacuum systems, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply to all hospital departments in compliance with safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Operating, monitoring, and maintaining the hospital's medical gas manifold system. - Conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of gas manifold equipment. - Monitoring gas cylinder levels, pressure, and leakage, and replacing cylinders as required. - Maintaining accurate records of gas usage, cylinder inventory, and maintenance activities. - Complying with hospital safety protocols and statutory guidelines for medical gas handling. - Coordinating with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and refilling of cylinders. - Responding promptly to any breakdowns, alarms, or gas supply issues. Key Skills required for this role include: - Knowledge of medical gas systems and manifold operations. - Ability to handle tools, pressure gauges, and safety equipment. - Understanding of safety protocols for gas handling and storage. - Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. - Good communication and coordination abilities.
