Job Overview:

Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly & Installation

  : Install, align, and assemble complex mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment, ensuring precise tolerances and functionality.

• Maintenance & Repairs

  : Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to reduce downtime.

• Equipment Modification

  : Modify existing equipment or systems to improve performance, reduce energy consumption, or adapt to new operational requirements.

• Quality Assurance

  : Ensure all work complies with industry standards, quality specifications, and safety regulations.

• Project Management

  : Lead projects and coordinate with team members to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Oversee junior fitters and provide mentoring/training when required.

• Safety Compliance

  : Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all installations and maintenance work are carried out safely to prevent accidents or injuries.

• Reporting & Documentation

  : Complete work reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Experience

  : Minimum 10 years of proven experience as an Industrial Fitter or similar role in an industrial setting.

• Technical Skills

  : Extensive experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Problem-Solving

  : Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues quickly.

• Physical Stamina

  : Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.

• Communication Skills

  : Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

• Additional Skills

  :
• Experience with CNC punching machinery, powder coating, HPB, Hot press, Honey comb expander, glue coater etc.
• Knowledge of electrical systems troubleshooting.
