Engineer - Maintenance

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform breakdown maintenance, predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, and electrical/mechanical repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct regular inspections of plant machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues using problem-solving techniques such as FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) or 8D reports.
Collaborate with other teams to resolve production downtime caused by equipment failures or malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, testing results, and maintenance schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

4-7 years' experience in a similar role within the automobile industry.
Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of press shop operations, stamping processes, preventive/breakdown maintenance principles.
