Maintenance Engineer Tooling

The primary responsibilities for this role include planning and executing scheduled maintenance tasks, managing stocks of supplies and equipment, and maintaining records of faults and repairs with a focus on maintaining history cards for machines. You will be expected to respond to equipment and machine breakdowns promptly, coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining preventive maintenance plans, servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to ensure smooth operations. An essential aspect of this role will involve analyzing mechanical, hydraulic, and operational problems of plastic injection molding machines, and taking corrective action to optimize production and quality. Knowledge of utility equipment like chiller, cooling tower, compressor, and basic breakdown handling is also required. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a similar role. Proficiency in mechanical systems and equipment, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and knowledge about Basic Utilities Operations are essential technical competencies for this position. Good verbal and written communication skills are preferred for effective documentation and reporting of maintenance activities. This role will report to the Unit Head and is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
