Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform
preventive and corrective maintenance
on robotic welding systems, welding machines (MIG/TIG/spot welders), conveyors, jigs, and fixtures.
Troubleshoot and repair
robotic arms, welding torches, sensors, and peripheral equipment
.
Inspect and maintain
pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
related to welding operations.
Assist in the
programming, calibration, and alignment
of robotic welding equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase uptime and efficiency.
Document maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure weld integrity and process compliance.
Ensure adherence to
safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols
during maintenance.
Support
continuous improvement initiatives
(Kaizen, TPM, Lean, 5S) within the weld shop.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools for robotic welding equipment.
