Description
Location: Gurugram/Onsite Experience: 5+ years Role Expectations: Contribute to mainframe application development using COBOL, JCL, and associated tools Support and troubleshoot production systems and perform incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventative fixes Manage batch schedules and job streams using TWS Handle change management processes and ensure compliance with ITIL and audit guidelines Participate in release management, impact analysis, and defect fixing for production and test environments Collaborate with business users and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery Use tools like ServiceNow for incident and change tracking and JIRA/Rally for agile workflow management Provide SME-level input for card processing systems like Vision+, MBS, and P1C Must Have Skills: 7+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in mainframe development and/or support roles Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DFSORT, Endevor, TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler), DB2, IMSDB, MVS, MQ Series, SQL, Ezytrieve Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, Rally, or similar tools Good understanding of ITIL processes, especially incident and change management Experience in Cards/Payments domain, particularly with schemes like Visa, Mastercard, and EFTPOS Exposure to core applications such as Vision+, MBS, and P1C Strong troubleshooting, impact analysis, and production support capabilities Experience working in Agile delivery models (Scrum, SAFe). Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite. Good to Have Hands-on experience in agile or hybrid project environments. Ability to write technical documentation and system specifications. Knowledge of audit controls and regulatory compliance in the financial domain. Prior experience working in onshore-offshore models.
