Job Title Mainframe Developer Responsibilities A day in the life of an Infoscion As part of the Infosys delivery team, your primary role would be to interface with the client for quality assurance, issue resolution and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will understand requirements, create and review designs, validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain. You will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews. You will lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes. Technical and Professional Requirements: Mainframes, COBOL, PL/1, CICS, JCL, DB2ToolsIBM Rational tools (IDz, RDz, RBD, RTC)Good to haveMainframe Modernization Preferred Skills: Technology->Mainframe Technologies->COBOL->MF COBOL Technology->Mainframe Technologies->JCL Technology->Database Administration->DB2 on Mainframe->DB2 Additional Responsibilities: In-depth knowledge of design issues and best practices Solid understanding of object-oriented programming Familiar with various design, architectural patterns and software development process. Experience with both external and embedded databases Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate with remote teams in effective manner High flexibility to travel Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor Of Technology Service Line Application Development and Maintenance * Location of posting is subject to business requirements
