Mainframe DB Specialist

As a Mainframe DB Specialist with 7-11 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in data migrations and database management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Experience with SQL, Mainframe DB2, IMS, etc., database backups, and database mapping - Advanced experience with PostgreSQL required - Experience in Mainframe DB2/IMS/VSAM to Postgres/SQL Server migrations - Creative problem solving and collaborative work environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional time management and working with project managers to meet deadlines - Detail-oriented and comfortable with problem-solving complex data issues - Support team members with deliverables, timelines, and strategies - Provide expert advice on best practice migration solutions for customer requirements Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience - Minimum of 5+ years experience in data migrations with PostgreSQL - Intermediate or advanced knowledge of networking, hardware, operating systems, databases, remote connectivity, security, and image processing - Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid mode in Pune or Mumbai with shift timings from 12 PM to 9 PM or 1 PM to 10 PM.
