Mainframe DB Specialist

As a Mainframe DB Specialist with 7-11 years of experience located in Pune or Mumbai with a hybrid work mode and shift timings from 12 PM to 9 PM or 1 PM to 10 PM, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Experience with SQL, Mainframe DB2, IMS, etc., database backups, and database mapping - Advanced experience with PostgreSQL required - Experience in Mainframe DB2/IMS/VSAM to Postgres/SQL Server migrations - Enjoy creative problem solving and thrive in a collaborative, open work environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional time management skills and ability to work with a project manager to set and meet deadlines - Self-driven individual who is extremely detail-oriented and comfortable problem-solving complex data issues - Support team members around deliverables, timelines, and strategies - Provide expert advice on best practice migration solutions that satisfy customer requirements Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Minimum of 5+ years experience running data migrations in a complex environment with PostgreSQL - Intermediate or advanced knowledge of networking, hardware and operating systems, databases, remote connectivity, security, and image processing - Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems,
