Mainframe CICS System Programmer

Role Overview: As a Mainframe CICS Admin at Wipro, your primary responsibility will be to manage tasks such as upgrading/installing CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products. You will also be tasked with performing regular maintenance activities by applying FIX packs. Additionally, you will handle the installation and tuning processes for CICS webservices, CICS plex System manager, JVM Servers, and other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of CICS services and infrastructures. Your role will involve identifying performance bottlenecks, providing administrative solutions, and monitoring ticketing tools to resolve incidents within agreed SLAs. Key Responsibilities: - Upgrade/install CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA, and other vendor products - Perform regular maintenance tasks by applying FIX packs - Handle installation and tuning processes for CICS webservices, CICS plex System manager, JVM Servers, and related tasks - Identify performance bottlenecks and provide administrative solutions - Monitor ticketing tools to resolve incidents within agreed SLAs Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience as a Mainframe Infra Admin - Proficiency in utilizing system diagnostics tools like CA SYSVIEW, Omegamon, Fault Analyzer, and CICS PA - Good understanding of CICS Application Architecture and z/OS Job Control Language (JCL) - Familiarity with tools like Service Now and BMC Remedy for Incident/Change Management - Ability to work on weekends on a rotational basis to support client systems 24/7 Additional Details: Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company dedicated to developing innovative solutions for clients" digital transformation needs.
