Description
We are looking for an experienced Magento Developer to join our eCommerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based eCommerce websites. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to enhance the platforms functionality, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites. Create and modify Magento modules, extensions, and themes. Optimize website performance, speed, and security. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping providers. Troubleshoot and resolve Magento-related issues. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Implement SEO best practices for Magento-based websites. Manage and maintain Magento databases, ensuring efficient data handling. Ensure website scalability and performance under high traffic loads. Stay updated with the latest Magento features, security patches, and updates. Requirements 3+ years of experience in Magento development (Magento 2 preferred). Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with Magento themes, custom modules, and extensions development. Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodologies. Understanding of eCommerce concepts, including cart, checkout, and order management. Experience in integrating third-party services like payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal) and shipping providers. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with performance optimization and caching (Redis, Varnish, etc.). Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps tools is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Magento certification (Magento Certified Developer or Magento Solution Specialist). Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) in Magento. Knowledge of headless commerce and GraphQL. Experience working with marketplaces and multi-store setups.
