Magento Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento-based eCommerce websites (Magento 2 preferred).
• Build custom modules, extensions, and themes as per project requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping modules.
• Optimize website performance and ensure high security and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, version control (Git), and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in

  Magento 2 development

  (themes, modules, customization).
• Proficiency in

  PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

  .
• Good understanding of

  MVC architecture

  and

  OOP concepts

  .
• Experience with

  REST/SOAP APIs

  and

  third-party integrations

  .
• Familiarity with

  Git, Composer, and command-line tools

  .
• Knowledge of

  server management, caching, and optimization techniques

  .
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills (Plus Point)

• Experience with

  other eCommerce platforms

  (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Shopware).
• Understanding of

  React.js / Node.js

  for headless commerce or custom solutions.
• Familiarity with

  Docker, AWS, or CI/CD pipelines

  .

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Magento certification will be an added advantage.
