Magento 2 Front-end Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Magento Front-End Developer to join our dynamic eCommerce development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience working with Magento (preferably Magento 2) and possess strong skills in React and Java to build high-performing, user-friendly, and visually appealing front-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive front-end components and themes for Magento-based websites.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize website performance, page load speed, and front-end code for scalability and efficiency.
• Implement custom UI features and interactive elements using React and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and Magento platform updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Magento Front-End Developer (Magento 2 preferred).
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with React for dynamic UI development.
• Working knowledge of Java for integration and custom feature development.
• Familiarity with Knockout.js, Require.js, and Magento’s front-end architecture.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and front-end integration with back-end systems.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with headless Magento or PWA (Progressive Web Apps) using React.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
• Experience working in cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
