Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee the creation, production, and publication of high quality content, news articles
Ensure that all content meets the editorial policy, and publishing requirements
Review and approve all pieces of content, stories before publication
Work with the cross functional team ( Sales, Marketing ) to develop story ideas and develop, implement effective promotional strategies .
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop an effective content marketing strategy
Deciding/ curating what to publish
Ensuring content accuracy, relevance, and quality
Developing editorial calendar
Maintaining a consistent voice for the publication
Ensure compliance with the legal and ethical standards of journalism

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience as Editor or in a similar leadership role with reputed organization
Experience with digital publishing and content management systems
Excellent organizational, leadership and team management skills
Transformative leaders with an outstanding writing and editing skills
Self Driven, very, dynamic, focused, creative thinker, problem solver, socially active, team player
Highly Disciplined, very sincere, laser sharp focus on work, task execution, superb time management
Good network within Industry and government departments
Excellent understanding of media law and ethical guidelines
