PSOVL RAILONE PVT. LTD is a daughter company of the PCM Group, the leading manufacturer of concrete sleepers and track systems for urban transit and long-distance rail transportation. As a technology leader, PSOVL RAILONE PVT. LTD offers expertise in engineering and plant construction. The company is currently playing a key role in the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project, India's first bullet train.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Machinist located in Surat. The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Daily tasks include reading blueprints or technical drawings, setting up machines, monitoring the machines during operation, inspecting finished products for defects, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. The Machinist will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Experience with operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to machining operations.
Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on finished products.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Relevant vocational training or certification in machining or a related field.
Experience in the manufacturing or rail industry is a plus.
