Machine Technician

As a Machine Technician at AGF Equipamentos, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. Your role will involve hands-on experience with mechanical systems and strong problem-solving abilities. Your primary responsibilities will include installing and setting up new machines according to manufacturer specifications, conducting pre-installation inspections to ensure site readiness, aligning, calibrating, and testing machines for optimal performance, and training operators and staff on proper machine usage and safety procedures. Additionally, you will be expected to perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system issues, replace defective parts such as gears, bearings, wiring, and hydraulic components, maintain detailed maintenance records and repair logs, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. To qualify for this position, you should hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field) and have 1-2 years of experience in machine installation and maintenance. You should possess a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role may require travel within India and abroad for machine installations.
