Machine Shop Maintenance Sliding Head Machines

You are a skilled Multi-axis CNC/VMC, HMC, Sliding Head, Swiss Lathe maintenance and troubleshooting professional sought by a US MNC specializing in machining precision components. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of multi-axis machines at their facility located in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. Your key result areas will include performing preventive maintenance on all machines, updating the PM database with completed work information, conducting preventive maintenance on various machines used for high precision machining, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, electronic, or pneumatic malfunctions, and minimizing machine downtime to ensure smooth production flow. You will also be responsible for recommending new equipment or tools to enhance maintenance practices, managing critical spares, and organizing essential documentation such as manufacturers" manuals and machine maintenance files. The ideal candidate for this role is expected to hold a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and possess relevant experience in maintenance and troubleshooting within a machine shop environment involving CNC, VMC, and PLCs. You should have a strong knowledge of multi-axis machines, particularly 12 axes Star Machines, and prior experience with Predictive and Preventive Maintenance techniques.
