Machine Operator

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and other preventive measures to ensure the proper functionality of equipment. You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair any issues by diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing necessary repairs or replacements. - Manage equipment schedules, order parts and supplies, and ensure proper storage and inventory. - Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, provide training on procedures, and ensure adherence to safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, document repairs, and provide reports on equipment performance. - Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, and optimize equipment performance. - Respond to equipment breakdowns, manage maintenance budgets, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and develop long-term maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or other relevant engineering principles. Problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, organizational skills, and hands-on experience in maintenance and repair tasks are also essential.
