Job Description
Substation Civil Designer/Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed civil and structural drawings, layouts, and documentation for substations ranging up to 765 kV systems. The role includes drafting designs for Control Room buildings, underground utilities, outdoor equipment foundations, and site grading plans, while ensuring compliance with design standards and project specifications. The draftsman will interface with engineers and Equipment vendors to deliver accurate, high-quality designs drawings. He also has to coordinate with client (PGCIL and end user) for discussion and approval of the design documents.
