Job Description-

The Lotus Notes Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of business applications using IBM Lotus Notes/Domino. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development and a deep understanding of Lotus Notes architecture and application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Lotus Notes/Domino applications to meet business requirements.
• Create high-quality code that is maintainable, efficient, and adheres to established coding standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of existing applications to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of applications before deployment.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for existing Lotus Notes applications.
• Document application designs, development processes, and user guides.
• Stay current with new features, functionalities, and advancements in Lotus Notes/Domino and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Lotus Notes Developer with a minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lotus Notes/Domino architecture and application development.
• Proficiency in Lotus Script, Formula Language, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Lotus Notes integration with other systems and applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM XPages development.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and XML.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of modern software development practices and tools.
