Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on GIS features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Design and implement user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.
Integrate GIS data and services into web applications.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to GIS features.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and GIS.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Web Developer with a focus on GIS feature development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
Strong understanding of web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with GIS software and tools such as QGIS, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), Map-based frontend development (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox JS, Cesium, OpenLayers), databases (SQL, PostGIS) and map service (Geoserver, Mapserver etc.).
Knowledge of geospatial data formats and standards.
Familiarity with cloud services and APIs for GIS data.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
