Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Collaborate with development and manual QA teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
Participate in the design and implementation of automation frameworks.
Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing of web applications.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them accurately in a defect tracking system.
Support the integration of automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Proficiency in Java programming language, including object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured
