The position at APM Terminals located in Ballabgarh, Haryana (near Faridabad) requires you to deliver on the SCM Strategy within the geographical area covered by Maersk Area office. Your main responsibility is to meet the financial and operational targets set by some of Maersk's global customers. Your key responsibilities include building strong and lasting relationships with all stakeholders within the customer's organization, addressing customer issues and queries promptly to minimize escalations, and ensuring relationship-based customer service delivery. You will collaborate with the team to achieve top quartile results in customer experience and promote an owner mindset for the business. Additionally, you will be responsible for converting customer demand forecasts into capacity plans at a plant level, working with overseas customer offices on shipment prioritization matrices and carrier allocation, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics planning. This includes managing export and import processes across different transport models like Ocean, Air, and LCL, coordinating material/container pick up, ensuring export-worthy packaging, and preparing export-related documents. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field, along with a background in SCM and a proper understanding of international supply chains. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in operational roles within the logistics industry is also required.
