As a Shipping Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to manage the shipping processes efficiently and effectively. You will be required to create separate files for each contract and ensure that accurate shipping instructions are provided to our suppliers and agents. In this role, you will need to monitor the shipping periods of purchase contracts, request timely approvals for pre-shipment samples, and coordinate shipping schedules with suppliers, agents, and buyers. Additionally, you will be responsible for following up on pending shipments, dealing with shipping-related issues such as delays or equipment shortages, and checking the completeness and correctness of incoming shipping documents. Furthermore, you will create outgoing shipping advices, transmit them to buyers and agents, and send copies of Bills of Lading to shipping agencies for freight invoices. You will also check and book incoming freight invoices, issue sales invoices and covering letters, and send necessary documents to banks, buyers, or agents as required. As part of your duties, you will process incoming weight notes from buyers and forwarding agents in accordance with the terms and conditions of the European Coffee Contracts. You will issue final invoices for any differences in weight, issue warehousing and sampling instructions for unsold shipments, and update the shipment status in the system based on the date of arrival and warehousing. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Logistics Executive, expertise in commodities, export documentation, and billing. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires your physical presence at the work location.
