JOB PROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CANDIDATE :

1) Good Knowledge of PAN India Domestic Logistic and Transportation service provider.

2) Good knowledge of PTL shipment, FTL shipment, Tanker shipment and vehicle type with load carrying capacity.

3) Good Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP. Knowledge of Fretron will be added advantage.

4) Proper allocation of transportation based on location expertise and type of vehicle. Load consolidation, Milk run route & IBC movement in round trip formation.

5) Good knowledge in transportation commercial negotiations.

6) New vendor development, management & Preparing, Updating their agreement

7) Co-ordination with transporter & within the team for vehicle number, LR number, shipment dispatch details & vehicle report status for vehicle placement.

8) Ensuring optimum utilisation of loadibility of the truck/ tankers.

9) Doing route planning which should be effective and cost efficient. Ensuring continuous improvement in same. Also doing GPS tracking using Fretron application of the vehicle.

10) Maintaining transit time sheet & SLA report of all transporters. Conducting monthly review meeting with all transporter for improve vender performance.

11) Transport bill cross checking, signing and forwarding to next level and ensuring on time bill payment.

12) Ensuring proper logistics data is entered in Fretron system about location added, loaded, material availability, vehicle report, shipment closing etc.

13) Data making & analysis. Timely & correctly various MIS creation as per standard format and analysing in transit cost on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE :

• Awareness of FTL (full truck load) and PTL (part truck load)
• Knowledge of Milk route run process
• Knowledge of Tanker route movement
• Knowledge of load cubing
• Awareness of Vehicle specification with load capacity
• Vehicle verification at the time of reporting at docking station
• Awareness of logistic Negotiation process.
• Awareness of logistic vendor management process
• Geography awareness
• Awareness of Loading, unloading & Dispatch operations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

• Should have minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Transportation/Logistics Management.
• Should atleast be a graduate. Diploma or any higher degree in Logistics or similar field is preferred.
