Description
You will be responsible for managing the execution of customer orders in the logistics industry. This includes handling domestic and international shipments, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. Your role will involve processing orders, overseeing order fulfillment cycles, and ensuring efficient and safe product processing through the delivery and warehouse system. Additionally, you will be required to build and maintain customer relationships through open communication, understand customer requirements, and manage activities to meet established deadlines. Your key responsibilities and duties will include: - Managing the importation of domestic and international shipments - Liaising with warehouse managers to ensure shipment compliance with customer Vendor Manuals - Utilizing logistics IT for optimized shipping and transport procedures - Inventory management and reconciliation - Data entry for order processing, invoicing, and inventory control - Processing orders, managing shipment schedules, and prioritizing customer orders - Maintaining customer price lists and conducting margin analysis - Data reporting and analysis of customer sales history and open orders - Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations - Ensuring effective use of premises, assets, and communications - Keeping logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders - Preparing accurate reports for upper management - Adopting necessary measures for safe loading and unloading - Ensuring security of warehouse environment and goods - Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order, and dispatch of goods - Preparing export invoices and packing lists Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduation or Post Graduation in Supply Chain Management - Minimum 3+ years of experience in the logistics industry You should possess the following skills: - Ability to guide and train people - Managing a team of 10-15 individuals - Proficiency in logistics software (ERP) - Good knowledge of Logistics/3PL Industry - Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities Please note that the salary for this position will be as per industry standards.
