Logistics Coordinator

A Logistics Coordinator is a professional responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of goods, materials, and information within a supply chain. The primary objective is to ensure that products are delivered to the right location on time and in the most cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise, plan, assign, and review the work of clerks in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and inventory management.
• Oversee purchasing transactions, production coordination, dispatching crews, and scheduling transportation routes.

2.Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety and security procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement of compliance measures.

3.Problem Resolution & Process Improvement

• Address operational problems and complaints.
• Implement corrective measures and drive process improvements.

4.Training & Development

• Train workers in job duties and operational procedures.

5.Procurement & Supply Management

• Requisition supplies and materials to maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in logistics industry
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
