Logistics Coordinator

A Logistics Coordinator is a professional responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of goods, materials, and information within a supply chain. The primary objective is to ensure that products are delivered to the right location on time and in the most cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordination: Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Shipment Tracking: Track and trace shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Communication: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics processes.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipment documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to transportation, delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Cost Management: Work towards optimizing transportation and logistics costs while maintaining service levels.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade compliance.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with logistics service providers and suppliers to improve efficiency and performance.
• Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in logistics industry
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
