Job Description

A Logistics Coordinator is a professional responsible for coordinating and facilitating the movement of goods, materials, and information within a supply chain. The primary objective is to ensure that products are delivered to the right location on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Job Responsibilities: Coordination: Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Shipment Tracking: Track and trace shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Communication: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics processes. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipment documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to transportation, delays, damages, or discrepancies. Cost Management: Work towards optimizing transportation and logistics costs while maintaining service levels. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and trade compliance. Vendor Management: Collaborate with logistics service providers and suppliers to improve efficiency and performance. Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree required Experience: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in logistics industry Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
