Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Underwriting & Credit Appraisal
- Evaluate and recommend credit approvals in line with banks credit policy and delegated authority. Conduct detailed analysis of financials, banking, bureau abd field investigation. Ensure appropriate risk rating, structuring and documentation for each proposal
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policy, regulatory guidelines (RBI) and audit norms. Identify Early warning signals and escalate for high risk cases
Key skills & Competencies
-Strong analytical and financials assessment skills, Understanding of lending products. Knowledge of regulatory framework and RBI norms. Proficiency in Credit systems (Salesforce LOS) and MS Office tools.

Education
CA
Experience
– 2-3 yrs in Credit underwriting preferably in Working capital products
Reporting to
RCM
Analytical skills
- Ability to interpret the financial statement, analyse data & assess worthiness
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
-Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients, colleagues and senior management.
Attention to detail
– Precision and meticulousness to identify potential issues and avoid errors in financial data
Prior experience handling a branch underwriting portfolio
Exposure to Retail/MSME/Business lending products
Strong understanding of market dynamics and borrower profiles
