LOADING AND UNLOADING IN-CHARGE

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Loading & Unloading In-Charge to oversee daily loading and unloading operations at our warehouse/dispatch area. The role involves supervising manpower, ensuring safe handling of materials, maintaining proper documentation, and coordinating with transport and warehouse teams for smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily loading and unloading activities.
• Ensure accurate quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Verify materials against invoices, packing lists, LR, GRN, DC, etc.
• Allocate work to labour staff and monitor performance.
• Ensure proper stacking, palletizing, and material handling.
• Maintain records of loaded/unloaded goods and update ERP or logs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, transporters, and drivers.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure use of PPE.
• Reduce loading/unloading delays and improve efficiency.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or delays immediately.
• Plan truck loading sequence based on route and material priority.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in loading/unloading or warehouse supervision.
• Knowledge of material handling procedures.
• Ability to manage labour teams effectively.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel / ERP preferred).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of safety norms and warehouse operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
