Job Responsibilities

. To prepare draft replies, applications, evidence, affidavits, writ petitions related to consumer, civil, commercial, arbitration, criminal, industrial disputes/ labour matters and other specialized litigations/ matters.

. To efficiently handle and regularly update the management on the status of various litigations pending at various fora/courts/tribunals.

. To advise, appear and represent the Companyin various proceedings before courts /Tribunal /Commissions and other Govt. Authorities

. Coordinate with lawyers and internal stakeholders/ functions forpreparing replies/submissions and follow up with lawyers/consultants for managing end to end litigations filed for and against the Company

.Advise busine team on the day-to-day queries related to legal issues /litigations

. To conduct or coordinate research on legal issues & update stakeholders on the new judgements/ laws.

Competencies / Skills

. Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions to complex legal issues and handle litigations

. Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within tight timelines

. Must be a highly motivated self-starter and able to function independently in a hands-on environment. and he should be familiar with court process and handling litigation in corporate houses.

. Should have excellent analytical, execution skills and practical experience of handling litigation before various forum.

-Must be familiar with roles & responsibility of an in-house counsel and able to work in close knitted team.
