Role Summary:

Full-time, On-site Literature Search Specialist Medical Services (Mumbai)

• Responsible for conducting comprehensive literature searches across scientific databases (e.g., PubMed, Embase, Google Scholar) for drug safety and regulatory purposes.
• Perform systematic and targeted searches for aggregate reports, signal detection, and risk management activities.
• Screen and evaluate scientific articles for relevance, accuracy, and data quality.
• Summarize findings and prepare literature review reports in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacovigilance, regulatory writing, and medical affairs teams to ensure timely delivery of literature search outputs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of search strategies, database functionalities, and indexing terms (e.g., MeSH).
• Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards (ICH, GVP Module IX, and internal SOPs).
• Support preparation of literature surveillance reports for PSURs, PBRERs, and RMPs.

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of literature search methodologies and familiarity with scientific databases (PubMed, Embase, Scopus, etc.).
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, regulatory reporting timelines, and medical terminology.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in

  Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related discipline.

• 14 years of experience

  in literature search, scientific research, or drug safety (pharma, CRO, or medical services environment).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and reference management tools (EndNote, Mendeley, or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
