Job Summary:

Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Linux server environments.
• Deploy and manage both open-source and proprietary software applications.
• Quickly identify and resolve system-related operational issues.
• Monitor and maintain system security, performance, and reliability.
• Provide user support for access and resource-related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to address hardware and software concerns.
• Document procedures, workflows, and best practices in internal knowledge bases.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Masters degree

  in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science/Applications,

  ora Bachelors degree in Engineering.

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, LPIC-1/LPIC-2, or RHCSA are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking, file systems, system monitoring, backup/recovery processes, and virtualization.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible or XCAT for provisioning and configuration management.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration.
