The ideal candidate will play a key role in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based systems, while also contributing to software deployment, security management, and issue resolution. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in Linux system administration and automation tools to grow within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Linux server environments. Deploy and manage both open-source and proprietary software applications. Quickly identify and resolve system-related operational issues. Monitor and maintain system security, performance, and reliability. Provide user support for access and resource-related issues. Collaborate with vendors to address hardware and software concerns. Document procedures, workflows, and best practices in internal knowledge bases. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required. Qualifications and Skills: Masters degree in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science/Applications, ora Bachelors degree in Engineering. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, LPIC-1/LPIC-2, or RHCSA are highly desirable. Strong understanding of networking, file systems, system monitoring, backup/recovery processes, and virtualization. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Experience with automation tools like Ansible or XCAT for provisioning and configuration management. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration.
