Job Description

Role & responsibilities

System Installation & Configuration
Install and configure various Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
Set up and manage boot processes, kernel parameters, and user environments.
User & Permission Management
Create, modify, and manage user accounts and groups.
Assign appropriate file permissions and ownership for security and access control.
System Monitoring & Maintenance
Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, disk I/O, etc.).
Apply updates, patches, and kernel upgrades.
Perform regular health checks and system audits.
Networking
Configure network interfaces, routing, DNS, and firewalls (iptables/firewalld).
Troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Backup & Recovery
Set up automated backups using tools like rsync, tar, cron, or enterprise backup solutions.
Restore systems and data during failures.
Security Management
