Linux Admin (Senior Analyst- Global IT infrastructure Support)

Your objective of role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in managing, deploying, and optimizing Linux-based systems in production environments. You will be responsible for maintaining and securing servers, creating and managing automation scripts, and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless operations.

Tasks

1 Database management (PostgreSQL & MySQL) Configure and optimize Docker containers for development and production

2 Configure and optimize Docker containers for development and production Develop and maintain Bash/Python scripts to automate routine tasks and deployments Collaborate with development teams to support Node.js and JavaScript applications, including package management with NPM 3 By Managing the systems below

1. Elastic (ELK) search

2. Cert Manager (Automation)

3. Docker for Desktop / Containers

4. Puppet management

5. Linux OS upgrade

6. Security Headers implementation

7. Harbor registry management

4 Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Experience with monitoring tools like PRTG, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).

Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure

What you should be good at

1 Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian) in enterprise Environments. Configure and optimize Docker containers for development and production. Develop and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and deployments

2 Troubleshoot and resolve server issues, ensuring high availability and performance

3 Implement and manage security protocols, including system hardening and patching Perform regular backups, system monitoring, and disaster recovery planning

4 Document processes, configurations, and infrastructure designs for internal use.

5 skills Strong knowledge of RHEL, Ubuntu, and Debian distributions, including their configuration and administration.

Containerization: Proficient in Docker, with experience in creating and managing containers in production environments.

Scripting: Advanced skills in Bash scripting for automation.

Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and other network-related concepts.

Security: Hands-on experience implementing system hardening and patch management

Education : Bachelor of Engineering, MCA
