Job Summary

We are looking for a Line Inspector to monitor and check the quality of components in our CNC machine shop. The role involves in-process inspection, dimensional checks, and ensuring products meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection of components produced on CNC machines.
• Check parts as per engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Record inspection results and maintain proper quality documents.
• Report deviations, defects, or rejections to the production and quality team.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements and company quality standards.
• Support final inspection and audits when required.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in line inspection / quality inspection in a CNC machine shop.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
• Good documentation & reporting skills.
• Freshers with strong knowledge of QC instruments may also apply.
