Lighting Engineer

As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers and external salespersons to gather all necessary information for lighting design projects. You will utilize design software such as Dialux evo, Relux, or AGi32 to create lighting designs based on the collected data. Your role includes providing optimal and cost-effective solutions to customers and revising designs as per their requirements. Additionally, you will review newly developed light fittings IES files, offer feedback, and provide input to Product Managers regarding product gaps in light distribution. Familiarity with lighting standards is essential, and you may be required to provide training on lighting design software to customers. Site visits, both locally and globally, may be necessary, as well as coordination with R&D, Sales, and Product Management teams. Ideal candidates will hold a B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in industrial lighting design, particularly from an EPC background. Proficiency in Dialux and Dialux evo is mandatory, with knowledge of Relux and Agi32 considered an additional advantage. An understanding of international lighting standards, experience with explosion-proof products, and continuous learning of new lighting technologies are highly valued. You must possess a strong grasp of lighting design concepts to deliver optimal solutions for critical designs. Basic LED and photometry knowledge are essential, along with excellent communication skills.
