Job Description About Us: You will be joining VUEE DESIGN, India's premium destination for designer lighting and curated interiors. As a Lighting Designer, your role will involve blending creativity with technical expertise to craft bespoke lighting pieces for residential and commercial applications. Responsibilities: - Design original lighting fixtures that are visually captivating, technically feasible, and ready for production. - Collaborate with production engineers to ensure the manufacturability and quality of the designs. - Develop sketches, CAD models, Rhino renderings, and detailed presentations to support design proposals. - Select appropriate materials, finishes, and lighting components customized for each design. - Stay updated on lighting design trends and global innovations. - Modify designs based on prototype feedback and technical limitations. Candidate Requirements: - 1 to 2 years of demonstrated experience in lighting product design, particularly in Custom or Production Fixtures. - Showcase a robust design portfolio featuring functional and innovative lighting concepts. - Proficiency in design tools like CAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar software. - Thorough understanding of materials, electrical components, finishes, and fabrication processes. - Possess a keen aesthetic sense, creative thinking, and meticulous attention to technical details. - Embrace a collaborative approach with strong cross-functional communication skills.
