Lighting Designer

Role Overview: You will join VUEE DESIGN, India's premium destination for designer lighting and curated interiors, as a Lighting Designer. Your role will involve designing bespoke lighting pieces for residential and commercial applications, blending creativity with technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Design visually captivating, technically viable, and production-ready lighting fixtures. - Collaborate with production engineers to ensure manufacturing feasibility and quality. - Develop sketches, CAD models, Rhino renderings, and detailed presentations for design proposals. - Select suitable materials, finishes, and lighting components tailored to each design. - Track and incorporate lighting design trends and global innovations. - Iterate designs based on prototype feedback and technical constraints. Qualification Required: - 1 to 2 years of proven experience in lighting product design (Custom or Production Fixtures). - Strong design portfolio showcasing functional and innovative lighting concepts. - Proficiency in design tools such as CAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar. - In-depth understanding of materials, electrical components, finishes, and fabrication processes. - Strong aesthetic sense, imaginative thinking, and attention to technical detail. - Collaborative mindset with cross-functional communication skills.
