Job Description

GSS Hiring Lifting Equipment Instructor

  • 15 years professional experience in lifting operations
  • Loler competent Person, or LEEA appointed person
  • Opito rigger competence assessment (stage 3)
  • Banksman competence assessment (stage 3)


Desirable:

  • Teaching Qual
  • Assessor Qual
  • Health & safety Qualification


  • Delivery of lifting courses, LEEA, OPITO
  • Conduct maintenance of equipment; and
  • Conduct workplace competency assessments in rigging, banksman, crane operations.
  • Act as GSS LOLER Competent Authority in lifting; planning, preparing and authorising lifts.
