Life Cycle Assessment Analyst

The Life Cycle Assessment Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Sustainability group by conducting life cycle assessments of products and processes. This will involve identifying and quantifying the environmental impacts associated with each stage of Momentive's product life. The primary objective is to elevate sustainability within Momentive towards the vision of providing Solutions for a Sustainable WorldTM. In this position, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop tools, compile and interpret data, and communicate the LCA results to clients and stakeholders, both internal and external to Momentive. The Analyst will be responsible for providing LCA support for all Business Segments and functions. Responsibilities will include conducting life cycle assessments, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to provide recommendations for reducing environmental impact, working on enhancements and automations for analyzing environmental impact efficiently, compiling and interpreting data on environmental performance, staying updated on LCA methodologies and regulations, delivering periodic reporting for various user groups, handling and resolving queries from the business, and assisting in standardization and automation initiatives for the process. To qualify for this role, you must possess a degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fields. Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the chemical industry. Higher degrees will be considered in lieu of industry experience. It is essential to have experience with LCA assessments and reporting, including knowledge of current tools and trends, as well as familiarity with LCA verification agencies. The ability to work effectively in an international cultural environment, strong computer skills, analytical capabilities, and clear communication skills are also necessary for this position.,
