License Compliance & GRC Manager

As a License Compliance & GRC Manager at our Mumbai location, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the governance of IT assets and licensing compliance, as well as managing governance, risk, and compliance functions. Your responsibilities will include: - **Hardware & Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM):** - Managing the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement. - Maintaining accurate inventories for hardware and software using ITAM tools. - Defining and enforcing asset tracking standards and policies. - Optimizing asset usage and reducing costs through efficient deployment and redeployment strategies. - **Licensing Compliance:** - Ensuring adherence to software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements. - Conducting regular audits and true-ups for major software vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.). - Tracking software usage and entitlements to prevent overuse or underutilization. - Collaborating with procurement, legal, and vendor management for contract reviews and renewals. - **Governance & Reporting:** - Generating regular reports and dashboards on asset utilization, compliance status, and cost optimization. - Establishing KPIs and SLAs for IT asset management in alignment with global governance standards. - Collaborating with procurement, finance, security, and infrastructure teams for process integration. - **Team & Vendor Management:** - Leading a team of analysts/coordinators for asset and compliance operations. - Liaising with software/hardware vendors and external auditors as required. - Driving training and awareness on asset handling and compliance best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Specific Certifications: - ITIL v4 Foundation - Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) - Microsoft Licensing Specialist Certification Skills Required: - Strong analytical and audit skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management - Policy writing and enforcement - Risk identification and mitigation - Attention to detail with a process-driven mindset Experience: - 8-12 years of experience in IT asset management, software compliance, and IT GRC. - Strong understanding of global compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.). - Expertise in tools such as ManageEngine, Flexera, Lansweeper, or SCCM. - Demonstrated experience in licensing audits and compliance management.,
