Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Rathinam College of Arts and Science, located in Coimbatore. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, preparing and delivering lectures, conducting research, advising students, and participating in departmental activities. Additional responsibilities include developing course materials and syllabi, evaluating student performance, and contributing to the academic community through research and publications.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in the relevant field of study and a Master's or Ph.D. degree in the subject area
• Experience in teaching, lecturing, and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Ability to conduct and publish research in reputable journals and academic conferences
• Strong skills in developing course materials, syllabi, and innovative teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to contributing to the academic community and departmental activities
• Previous experience in higher education institutions is a plus
