Librarian

As a Librarian at PICT Model School, you will be required to have a Post-Graduate or Graduate degree/diploma in Library Science from a recognized university. It is essential that you possess good communication skills and have the ability to inspire a love for reading in young minds. The application process consists of several steps. Firstly, you need to fill in the application form with all the required details. Ensure that all fields are completed accurately. Following this, your application form and documents will be scrutinized for verification. You are required to attach your resume with a current photo and self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents. Next, you will undergo a written assessment comprising three parts: General Aptitude, Teaching Aptitude, and Subject Specific Assessment. Candidates scoring 80% and above will proceed to a demo, scheduled at a mutually agreed timing. Success in the demo will lead to a final interview with the Principal to discuss the job profile, terms of employment, and remuneration. If selected, an offer letter will be issued, and you must confirm your acceptance in writing within 24 hours. The appointment letter will be provided on your first day at PICT Model School. Failure to report for duty without prior notification will result in the cancellation of the appointment. The list of required documents includes School Leaving Certificate, Pass Certificates & Mark Sheets of Grade 12 and Graduation/Highest examination passed, B.Ed. certificate, statutory training for Language Teaching (if applicable), appointment order with current remuneration details, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Residence Proof, Relieving Order from the current organization, testimonials from previous employers, and any other relevant documents.
