Birla Open Minds International School invites applications for the position of Librarian.
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated professional who can create an engaging and resourceful library environment that inspires a love for reading and research among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, manage, and maintain the school library resources (books, digital materials, journals, etc.)
• Assist students and teachers in locating and using library materials effectively
• Develop and implement library policies, procedures, and reading programs
• Maintain library records, issue systems, and inventory updates
• Encourage reading habits through storytelling sessions, book fairs, and reading challenges
• Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum requirements through appropriate resource selection

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field
• Prior experience as a Librarian in a school or educational institution preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in digital cataloguing and library management software
• Passionate about promoting literacy and learning

Location: KR Puram, Bangalore
Salary: Best in the industry and commensurate with experience
