Legrand - Network Engineer L3 - Thane

Network Engineer (Tier 3 - worldwide) Location Thane

The main responsibilities of the role are:

- Design, implement, secure and manage (tier 3) network infrastructures worldwide (WAN/LAN/Datacenter), in line with the Legrand standards

- Identify security improvements and document those improvements. Help ensure standards and processes are followed

- Focus on proactivity, i.e. enhancements that reduce the number of outages, especially on critical business applications

- Own, maintain and progress the team security KPIs

- In collaboration with our cybersecurity team, prepare and participate in audits (ISO 27001, NIST, SWIFT, etc.)

- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing as well as pentests

- Prepare and maintain documentation related to the network infrastructure

- Participate in the management of the relationship with the hardware/software vendors

- Collaborate with the other Legrand departments (IT and non-IT) to ensure the network standards are understood and suitable to the organizations operations

- Assist in major incidents investigations affecting business critical applications (tier 3)

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies.

Preffered Skill:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar

- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in designing and implementing network security infrastructure

- Strong knowledge of network protocols and standards, especially layer 7 firewalls (Palo Alto / Check Point), NAC, authentication methods, SIEM, wireless standards

- Good understanding of traditional network services such as DNS, DHCP, routing, switching

- Professional certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
